Sticker on record says ';for demonstration use only not for sale';

I just got this bobby vinton album at a thrift store. It's in really good condition and it has a white sticker on it that says that. What does it mean?Sticker on record says ';for demonstration use only not for sale';
i have alot of his records and some of mine say the same thing. the DJ's had probably used those when played on the radio, no worries, enjoy your BEAUTIFUL record!!!!Sticker on record says ';for demonstration use only not for sale';
exactly what it says. no, really. it was for demonstration use and not for sale-

so they gave it to someone to test out either on the radio or for review, etc.... and they didn't want that person turning around and selling it to someone else. like a promotional item
Don't worry. Whoever previously owned it (probably a store) most likely had it on display and didn't want someone buying it. Try playing on your LP player. What I'm worried, though, is that it is a blank record that the store had to show what they offered.
Could have been used in a store selling records (or record players) back in the day. They put the sticker on it so no one would sell it by accident.

it means u cant sell it and if u d u can get in a lot of trouble
