I have become very interested in purchasing a restaurant that is not for sale, but am not quite sure how to go about approaching the owner or handle the potential ensuing conversations.
How would you approach a small restaurant that you wanted to purchase? At what point is it reasonable to ask to see the books or quote a sales figure?Purchasing a restaurant that is not for sale.?
I would say,if you walked up to the owner and wrote down your final offer on a chueqe and tell them, your grandparents had this resaraunt and that you want it back.and tell them that is your final offer, cash in hand,or a chueque that way when they see all that money, its harder to resist.
Purchasing a restaurant that is not for sale.?
It's going to cost more.
I would just ask the owner if he's interested in selling.
He says yes, he says no. He may have a price in mind that's out of your range.
If he says yes, he has to show you the books.
Then negotiate a price.
