I'm doing a garage sale in a couple of weeks and I've inherited some books from a friend (paperbacks) that I want to sell. In the back of the book (by the ISBN) it's showing 'not for sale in USA or Canada' and then it shows UK pricing. Can I still sell them on a garage sale? Can I sell books with 'not for sale in usa' sign on a garage sale?
Ha. Yes, of course, you can certainly sell anything that belongs to you at a garage sale. Even if it says ';Not for individual sale'; or ';Not for sale in U.S.A.'; or any other ridiculous things like that. Companies generally put those restrictions on their products for stores selling the items for the first time, not for people selling them secondhand.
So be sure to put a good price on it.Can I sell books with 'not for sale in usa' sign on a garage sale?
As Long as you are reselling them as second hand, there is no problem with it. Just sell them. It's not like there are ';Book Nazis'; looking out for garage sales!
